Intense Pulsed Light with Max G

This photofacial uses intense pulsed light (IPL) to deliver powerful wavelengths of light deep into the layers of your skin to treat uneven skin tone.

A special handheld device targets the light to specific treatment areas where it’s absorbed and reduces brown spots, sun damage, or blood vessels. Your body’s natural healing process makes these uneven spots slowly disappear.

The IPL Process

The number of treatment sessions you need will depend on your skin and your desired results. Coming in for a consultation will allow our team to assess your unique skin and make specific recommendations for you.

During Your Treatment

Before the photofacial begins, a protected cover will be placed on your eyes and gel is applied to your skin.

During the treatment, you will feel the handheld device glide over your skin. When the light is administered, you may feel a sensation similar to the snap of a rubber band followed by cooling for comfort.

After Your Photofacial

Following your photofacial, it’s common to feel a mild sunburn-like sensation. This typically lasts less than 24 hours. Any redness should dissipate in 2–3 days. Also, it’s important to avoid excessive sun exposure and wear sunscreen when going out as your skin may be more sensitive than usual.
